The vision for Twin Cities Virtual Gospel Takeover was sparked by the need for peace and unity in the Twin Cities. With the uprising of racial discrimination, police brutality, an increasing rate of homicides in the Twin Cities and more, just in the year, 2020. In addition to the entertainment industry taking a fall due to COVID-19. Thus the world being in, shelter-in-place. Jerome Treadwell has a heart for Christ and passion for bringing together communities while providing opportunities for his fellow brothers and sisters in music. In light of the need for peace, unity, and opportunity Jerome has curated the Twin Cities Virtual Gospel Takeover which is destined to be a blessing to the artist and the viewer from home while giving glory and praise to God.
WHO IS JEROME TREADWELL?
Jerome Treadwell from Saint Paul, MN is a junior in high school. He is a multi-instrumentalist, athlete, youth activist, and lover of Christ who is dedicated to bringing together communities to enrich and foster relationships for the positivity of life while creating equal opportunity for all. Jerome has worked with many organizations, most notably the NAACP, and many others to help cultivate change in a corrupt society. Music is one of Jerome's greatest assets in showing his love and passion for people and for their communities. While still enjoying the recreations of his labor, Jerome is heavily supported by his family and mentors in efforts to shaping him to be the best man he can be. So that Jerome can one day, lead the world in an amplified voice beyond the borders of Minnesota, glorifying God.
